Friends on Book Crossing Web now constant reading buddies
By Stephanie Wesala
"We meet to trade books, drink coffee and talk about books that we've read. And we recently started a book of the month group that meets an hour earlier than the regular meeting. The book for the February meeting is "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov.
We have some longtime members as well as new ones.
It isn't something that you have to attend each month and feel committed to -- we just enjoy the gathering."
The Memphis BookCrossing Meetup Group met one another online, then started meeting once a month to trade books and talk about books they have read while enjoying a cup of coffee. Members include (back row) Kathryn Holderman, Cordova resident Stephanie Wesala, Cordova resident Margaret Cunzeman, Nancy Moore; (front row) Rebecca Moore, Louise Foster and Sonja Warmath.
