Poughkeepsie playgroup donates more than $5,000 to March of Dimes

Members of BabyMine Playgroup raised more than $5,000 for the March of Dimes Walk America in Hyde Park.

The Poughkeepsie-based group for mothers and children was participating in the event for the second year. Last year, the group raised $2,000.

“I can't say enough about how proud I am of BabyMine Playgroup,” team captain Heather Marts of Pleasant Valley said. “We had 18 team members and more than 20 supporters walk with us this year.”
