Thanks eBay!

Late last week, we dropped by the eBay offices in San jose to show them around Meetup.

When we first made arrangements, we only expected a few dozen people to show up. As the invite to "Meet the Meetup Guys" made its way around eBay, the RSVPs began to pour in. And what started as only a few dozen people, soon turned to over 500 hundred interested eBay staffers who wanted to see what Meetup was all about. By the time we got there, the conference room had a line of people out the door and around the corner waiting to get in. (Jokingly, some mused that maybe the free buffet had something to do with it... Hmmmm.)

In the end, about 120 people squeezed in-- standing room only.

And from the reaction to Scott's presentation, I'm happy to report that we really felt welcome. We really felt like a part of the eBay family. (Of which we are!).

So, thanks eBay! Next time you're in NYC, drop on by! :)
